Products!!! My Favorite Stuff!

Those who know me, know that I am a product junkie!!!! I love to try new products and I love to tell my friends about them!

You can find most of these products at my store: http://astore.amazon.com/deligh-20

Jojoba Oil: I have noticed a huge difference in my skin since using this oil. I use a dot on my face daily and love it! I was worried it would make me break out since I have always struggled with acne, however I believe it has helped maintain a clear complexion. I enjoyed this article about the product, http://www.acne.org/jojoba-oil.php. I use Desert Essence brand, you can purchase the oil on amazon.com, at Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods (I am sure there are many places you can purchase this online).

Vitamin E Oil: I have always used lotion directly after I shower (I read that when you apply lotion directly after the shower your pores are open from the steam and it absorbs better) and recently I have added a few drops of Vitamin E Oil to my lotion. My skin looks so healthy and stays hydrated for much longer than with lotion alone. You can read about its uses at: http://www.life123.com/health/vitamins/vitamin-e/vitamin-e-oil.shtml. JASON is a good brand or Trader Joe’s has a great brand also.

So Silver: This is the best shampoo for blonde hair, it is hard to find, but it takes the brass out and doesn’t make your hair feel like grass!

The Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash by Philosophy: I truly believe that the secret to beautiful makeup application and dewy skin is daily exfoliation! The Microdelivery Exfoliating wash is amazing. I have noticed such a difference in my skin since I started using it. It is gentle enough to use every day in the shower or you can use it dry once or twice a week for a more aggressive treatment.  This product is sulfate-free and formulated with ingredients designed to replenish and protect the skin with topical antioxidants as it helps condition the skin and retain its moisture level. At $25 for an 8oz bottle and $37 for the 16oz you must add it to your skin care routine!

Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials:This product is an absolute essential in my make up bag; it is amazing by itself and does wonders under eye shadow.  It is waterproof, prevents creasing, and extends the wear of your eye shadow. I have never had eye shadow last as long as it does with this product. I recently tried it in a bronze color and I absolutely love it by itself when I am doing a more natural look, it is perfect for summer time!

Trish McEvoy Line Refiner:I am always in search of new products that will help with my many under eye issues! This one is amazing for fine lines! I put it on before my concealer; I also carry it in my purse because it is perfect for a mid-day pick-me-up! I also use it on my lips under lipstick and it really helps prevent that flakey lipstick look (especially with reds)! This is truly my “does all” product!

Trish McEvoy Deluxe Planner Makeup System:I absolutely have to have order in my life and my makeup is no exception. I cannot stand to have multiple bags or drawers filled with random compacts or bottles I can never find. When I discovered Trish McEvoy over 10 years ago, it changed my life! I started with a small planner to see if I liked it and I quickly ungraded to the large planner and have been in love ever since! It has sheets for all of your Trish colors (which are the best and last forever), it has places for all of your brushes (any brush will fit, not exclusive to Trish brushes), and there is room for all of your non-Trish make up and so much more! It is really easy to wipe clean and Trish McEvoy eye shadows, blushes and bronzers are like collectables you can work on filling your planner with over time! Delightful!

Dior Show Blackout Mascara:I have tried almost every mascara on the market in search for the perfect mascara to make these pale, thin, stubby lashes look long and fabulous. I have found a few that do the trick, but all pale in comparison to Dior Show. So imagine my delight when I discovered that Dior has created an even “blacker” version of their wonderful mascara! The huge brush takes a little getting used to, but once you adjust, it does wonders for lashes!

Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen: I have tried these “pens” from almost every brand, the YSL ‘Touche Éclat’ is the most talked-about one on the market. I tried to love the YSL “pen” but it gave me a horrible rash under my eyes and did not work for me!  The Dior Radiance Booster Pen is the best I have found. It is lightweight yet gives great coverage! Definitely worth the splurge!

Moroccan Oil:Amazing!

Dior Air Flash: I am a make-up loyalist, I love to try new products, but the basics always remain the same. That being said, my loyalties are slowly transferring to one brand, Dior. My love affair started with Dior Show mascara, then Skin Flash stole my heart, now I am obsessed with AirFlash. I have some scaring on my skin and discoloration from pregnancy but this product flawlessly covers it all. It is not really for every day use, more for evening and great for pictures. It is in a spray can, but the make-up artist at Neiman Marcus showed me to spray it on a brush then apply to my skin- not directly on my face. Another new product they recently launched is Dior Show 360 mascara, I recently tried it out and liked that the brush spins both directions to coat your lashes, better than Lancome’s vibrating mascara. However, it is $12 more than Dior Show and I will have to say, not worth it. It is a cool gadget but I will stick with Dior Show Blackout or Dior Show Extase.
